Hi,
I am looking for solution to be able to restart FAH process on my PC which sometimes hangs up (FahMon? displays this state correctly and thatswhy I want to use it as a source for this action).
1) Ideal solution for me would be just for local Windows - kill the FAH process automatically and start it again, although I know this is not very general solution (people might be confused why they can't set this feature for network shares, on other systems etc.).
2) For more general solution I would appreciate a feature in FahMon? that will let me know that the process is in hangup state:
2a) Showing it interactivelly for the user (messagebox) or at least change the systray icon (maybe some flashing exclamation mark?)
2b) Creating some file (e.g. hangup.txt) in monitored FAH directory so I can construct some utility that will monitor the directory and when the file shows up try to kill and recreate FAH process on that machine (and delete the file hangup.txt again)
I am trying to solve this because it happens on my new machine with Phenom II X4 @ 3,2 GHz and Radeon 4850 running GPUv2 client and sometimes I notices that the client is hanged-up after 10 hours or so and many CPU and GPU cycles get wasted...
