Mac OSX FaHMon crashes

It crashed overnight and several times today. I grabbed the report that it offered to send to Apple - hopefully gives some clues.

The problem appears to occur when reloading clients (automatically). It doesn't matter if you use the "experiemental" method or not. It does matter that the files we are trying to read are on a smb share from a windows box. The crash often happens after a failure to read (for whatever reason) from the shared file system. I suspect it doesn't handle a read error very well.

I'll do some checking on this bug and see if there's anything obvious that I can do to fix it.
