No use of proxy-settings for "Check for FahMon Updates on startup"

Description (Last modified by uncle_fungus)

I'm using FahMon? 2.3.2a on my companies network to monitor my clients. Therefore I have to use the proxy-options to connect FahMon? to the internet. The "Download new projects" and "Check for Update" functions work fine, while FahMon? is started. But when I select "Check for FahMon? Updates on startup" in the preferences, FahMon? is not able to connect to the internet (at startup), though my settings for the proxy are correct. I seems to me that FahMon? isn't using the proxy at the startup.

There's no problem with the proxy settings as I've just tested this with wireshark. The proxy is used on startup.

However, I've also noticed this same behaviour on a Windows box that does not have a proxy configured. It still brings up the error on startup but works fine once the program is running.

No longer occurs, as libcurl is now used for all inet handling.
